R&D leaders of Türkiye research report has been recently released by Turkishtime with 2023 results. Imas was again listed among ‘Top 250 R&D Leaders of Türkiye’ as every year since 2015. Furthermore, Imas also keeps its pioneering position in the industry, as being placed among ‘Top 10 R&D Leaders of Turkish Machinery Industry’ in the last 4 years.

Imas which became the last year’s export leader of Türkiye in grain and feed milling technologies, also stands out with its leading place in research and development… According to the 2023 report by Turkishtime economy and business culture magazine, Imas was listed in 174th place among Top 250 R&D Leaders of Türkiye, with a better position compared to the last year’s 184th place. Furthermore, Imas also achieved to be listed among Top 10 R&D Leaders of Turkish machinery industry in all segments, as being the only milling machinery manufacturer having such degree.

The R&D budget of Imas for 2023 year was 57 Million TRY (around 1.75 Million USD), whereas the company spent 49 Million TRY (around 1.6 Million USD). The company has also been listed with its R&D team of 24 persons, working on 10 different ongoing projects.

Imas R&D Center missions to set ‘New Engineering Standards’ in grain and feed milling industries, by continuously developing innovation with new machines, systems, and technological solutions... Imas R&D Center works with a large team that also includes university- industry partnership in Konya, Türkiye. Imas R&D team has even some of scientific contributions in the industry about grain processing.

At Imas R&D Center, all activities including the engineering, design development, testing, and validation, etc. are carried out utilizing the latest technology including advanced testing and software- based analysis methods. In addition, both empty and loaded performance tests and trials on grain and feed milling machinery, as well as mechanical and pneumatic conveying equipment, etc. are carried out, whereas validation tests for new and improved designs are also carried out on prototypes.
